When does the lot open? Subject to each event, but for SDSU Football, parking lots will open five hours prior to kick off.
Tailgating Drinking & Consumption Rules: All Alcohol consumption must stop 30 minutes after the scheduled event starts. No glass bottles allowed, no kegs. Cups and cans only. No selling food or drinks. You can bring food for your own group only. No kegs. You can’t bring your drinks into the stadium or outside the lot.
If you are the driver to tailgate at Snapdragon, the rest of us in the community thank you in advance for not drinking alcohol. Treat yourself to an extra pouch of Dippin Dotz.
BBQ No charcoal grills, oil fryers. Only gas and propane grills.
Tents Pop-up tents are allowed. Not in your space but at the end of your vehicle.
Footballs, Frisbees No throwing balls or frisbees. Projectiles like this are not permitted. A bummer for tailgating traditionalists but the bright side no errant throws to bonk your noggin.
Drones Nope, no drones.
Common Sense Have fun but don’t be the one who ruins it for everyone else.
Good news for fans of tailgating, plans are in the works for expanded grass tailgating in the River Park area in 2024. Read more.
