San Diego Wave Promotions

Date: March 23, 2024 — San Diego Wave vs. Kansas City Current

Theme: Home Opener presented by Trust & Will
The 2024 theme night calendar launches during the Wave’s Home Opener on March 23 at 7:00 p.m. PT versus Kansas City Current. The Home Opener, presented by Trust & Will, will welcome back fans to Snapdragon Stadium for the club’s third season, with the first 15,000 fans in attendance receiving a NWSL Shield pennant to commemorate the club’s 2023 season.

Date: April 27, 2024 — San Diego Wave vs. Bay FC

Theme: Educator Appreciation Night
The first 1,000 educators will receive a special free giveaway, a custom Wave FC lanyard with proof of a school ID.

Date: May 12, 2024 — San Diego Wave vs. Gotham FC

Theme: Girl Scout Night
Every Girl Scout that shows their sash at the match will receive an official San Diego Wave Girl Scout patch!

Date: June 28, 2024 — San Diego Wave vs. Chicago Red Stars

Theme: Pride Night
Dedicated to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion, Wave FC’s annual Pride match is a fan favorite, and this year is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 28 at 7:00 p.m. PT. Matchday elements centered around Pride and the celebration of equality are planned, with more details, promos and stadium activations to be announced leading up to match day.

Date: August 24, 2024 — San Diego Wave vs. Angel City FC

Theme: Rivalry Match presented by Kaiser Permanente
Returning from the Olympic break, the Wave will head straight into Rivalry Match, presented by Kaiser Permanente, when the club hosts Angel City on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 1:00 p.m. PT. In addition, Battle of the Clubs is back and scheduled for this big game! The competition is open for any club and whoever brings the most people to Snapdragon Stadium wins. Date: September 1, 2024 — San Diego Wave vs. Washington Spirit

Theme: Military Appreciation presented by PenFed Credit Union
The Wave will honor the service and sacrifice of military service members and their families on Sunday, Sept. 1. Wave will highlight local service men and women in San Diego, as well as including plenty of on-field recognitions and surprises.

Date: September 28, 2024 — San Diego Wave vs. Portland Thorns

Theme: Latino Heritage Night presented by McDonald’s
Wave FC celebrates its third annual Latino Heritage Night presented by McDonald’s. Join the club for a night full of culture, music, food, and fútbol on Sept. 28 when the Wave host the Portland Thorns. Additional details will be released leading up to the match.

Date: October 13, 2024 — San Diego Wave vs. Houston Dash

Theme: Kids Day
Following the success of last season’s Kids Day, Wave will celebrate its young fans with a day set to feature a host of special activities and entertainment tailored toward kids. On Oct. 13, the Wave will be a part of the San Diego offers across the city as the club will offer one free kids ticket with every adult ticket purchased. A special link for this promotion, which will only be offered in the 200-level, will be available at a later date.

Date: November 3, 2024 — San Diego Wave vs. Racing Louisville

Theme: Fan Appreciation Day presented by PNC Bank
The final match of the regular season will take place on Sunday, Nov. 3 as the Wave host Racing Louisville for Fan Appreciation Day, presented by PNC Bank. The Wave continues its tradition of celebrating its dedicated fans with special moments and giveaways featured throughout the game, including the return of a custom jersey giveaway.
