The Yellow Lot is south of Snapdragon Stadium, closer to the Trolley station than most other lots. Enter at Gate 5 (Friars Road at River Park Road), on the northwest side of the stadium. That’s the same gate that serves Thrive Park. For San Diego FC matches, Gate 4 (River Park Road) also opens for Yellow Lot parking.

Unlike the gravel Orange Lot, the Yellow Lot is paved. A standard or general admission parking pass is good here or in the Orange Lot, subject to availability.

Tailgating

Tailgating is allowed in the Yellow Lot. For SDSU football, part of the lot is sold as reserved parking, and pop-up tents are limited to the reserved areas. See the tailgating guide for the rules by event.

Construction Nearby

The Fenton Parkway Bridge is under construction and due in fall 2027. It will carry Fenton Parkway over the San Diego River to Camino del Rio North, with a center-turn lane that can work as an exit after stadium events. Until then, expect some traffic impacts at the Fenton Parkway and River Park Road intersection on the way to Gate 5.

Further out, SDSU’s Innovation District is planned just south of the stadium, including parking structures meant to serve stadium events as well.
