San Diego Legion Rugby 2026 Season

The San Diego Legion has rebranded as the California Legion for the 2026 Major League Rugby season. The team now plays home matches across five California cities — Orange County, San Diego, Los Angeles, the Bay Area, and Sacramento.

San Diego’s home match is Saturday, April 4 against the New England Free Jacks. Kickoff is 4:00 PM at Torero Stadium (University of San Diego), not Snapdragon Stadium.

• March 28 — vs. Anthem Rugby Carolina, Orange County (Great Park Stadium, Irvine), 3:00 PM
• April 4 — vs. New England Free Jacks, San Diego (Torero Stadium, USD), 4:00 PM
• April 19 — vs. Seattle Seawolves, Los Angeles (UCLA), 5:00 PM
• May 16 — vs. Chicago Hounds, Bay Area (Saint Mary’s Stadium, Moraga), 1:00 PM
• May 24 — vs. Old Glory DC, Sacramento (Heart Health Park), 5:00 PM

Tickets

Season tickets are no longer sold through the old San Diego Legion channels. For 2026, the California Legion offers single-game, city, regional, and statewide membership packages through legion.rugby/tickets.
