On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the Texas State Bobcats visit Snapdragon Stadium for SDSU’s first-ever Pac-12 Conference game — and the first-ever meeting between the two programs. Two brand-new conference members, one historic kickoff. Time is TBA. Below: tickets, parking, tailgating, and matchup history.

Single-game tickets for SDSU’s Pac-12 opener are available now. For ticket types, seating tiers, and tips on buying smart, see our complete guide to purchasing SDSU Aztecs tickets.
The Aztecs and Bobcats have never played, making this the most novel matchup on SDSU’s 2026 schedule — and the first conference game in the program’s Pac-12 era. Texas State joins the rebuilt Pac-12 as part of the same expansion class as SDSU, arriving from the Sun Belt under fourth-year head coach G.J. Kinne. The Bobcats have posted three consecutive winning seasons under Kinne and won three straight bowl games, including a 30-28 victory over North Texas in last December’s First Responder Bowl.
