When Does LAFC Play at Snapdragon Stadium?
Not during the 2027 Sprint Season. The only meeting is the season opener, and it’s in Los Angeles:

San Diego FC vs. LAFC: Every Result
San Diego FC is unbeaten against LAFC: three wins and a draw in four MLS regular-season meetings.

Why It’s a Rivalry
Neither club has given it a name or a trophy, and SDFC CEO Tom Penn said before the first meeting that a rivalry “will develop on its own.” Four matches in, it has.
- Tom Penn ran LAFC first. He was LAFC’s founding president before leading San Diego FC. Every meeting is partly a referendum on which club he built better.
- San Diego vs. Los Angeles. This city has watched the Chargers and Clippers leave for LA. Beating an LA team lands differently here.
- LAFC keeps losing to the new kid. They’ve been in MLS since 2018 and won MLS Cup in 2022. They haven’t beaten a club that didn’t exist until 2025.
- The finishes. A 14th-minute stoppage-time equalizer and an 89th-minute penalty decided the 2026 meetings. Nobody’s leaving early.

What About the Galaxy?
