The Aztecs open their 2026 season — and their first as members of the rebuilt Pac-12 Conference — against the Portland State Vikings on Saturday, September 5 at Snapdragon Stadium. Kickoff for the home opener is TBA. Below: tickets, parking, tailgating, and the matchup history.

Single-game tickets for the home opener are available now. For ticket types, seating tiers, and tips on buying smart, see our complete guide to purchasing SDSU Aztecs tickets.
The Aztecs and Vikings have met just once before — a 52-17 SDSU win on September 22, 2007, in San Diego. Portland State competes in the FCS as a member of the Big Sky Conference and enters 2026 under first-year head coach Chris Fisk, who arrived from Central Washington after going 48-22 over five seasons. For SDSU, this non-conference opener is the first step in a landmark season as the Aztecs begin Pac-12 Conference play on October 3.
