New for 2024, EXPO DAY has moved to a location. After many years at Petco Park, the event is being reimagined for the larger venue of Snapdragon Stadium.

The San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering is a celebration of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) through interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and performances. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore various STEAM topics, including robotics, coding, and space exploration. The festival also provides a platform to learn about STEAM careers and connect with local STEAM organizations.

About the Festival

The San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering EXPO DAY is the largest event of its kind in Southern California. It’s a collective effort between industry, business leaders, government, community organizations, public outreach centers, academia, schools, and parents. The Festival aims to provide experiential activities in science and engineering to diverse populations. It celebrates the diverse cultures, communities, and populace of San Diego and inspires young minds to become tomorrow’s STEAM leaders. The Festival is the flagship event of Generation STEAM, a 501c3 nonprofit affiliate of Biocom California.
