The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk raises funds to support breast cancer awareness, research, and patient services. Organized by the American Cancer Society (ACS), these non-competitive walks take place in cities across the U.S., including San Diego, bringing together survivors, caregivers, and supporters to honor those affected by breast cancer and raise money for ACS programs.

Funds raised help provide free rides to treatment, patient lodging, support services, and research into breast cancer prevention and treatment.
